Robot

We use the NXT platform for our robot, and it is programmed with NXT-G. It uses three motors; two to drive and one to manipulate attachments. We use one light sensor on the robot, and then an RCX touch sensor in one of our attachments, with a conversion cable connecting it to the robot. When we were building the robot, we had size and stability in mind, so we built it compact and strong. It also has four wall guiders on each corner, so the robot can use them to travel in a straight line along a wall. Our robot is capable of a 400 and has proved so multiple times in both state and regional tournaments.
